Originally from Maryland, Howard Barshay has been a resident of Pleasure Island since 1989. After earning his captain’s license in 1993, he began running boats full time from Carolina Beach to the Virgin Islands and all points in between. Always returning to Pleasure Island after long stints at sea, it seemed wise to lay roots down in this beautiful area we know as Pleasure Island. After investing in several homes in Carolina and Kure beaches ,it was only natural to become more involved in the real estate industry. Having earned his Broker license and working for two large firms on Pleasure Island, Howard joined Coastwalk Real Estate in early 2007.
